Seahawks coach Pete Carroll says Bruce Irvin really doesn’t want to play for the Atlanta Falcons in 2016, after all.
Last week Seattle’s linebacker who is entering the final year of his rookie contract this coming 2015 season, was quoted in a story posted on blacksportsonline.com this way: “I’m going to be in Atlanta next season. I’m ready. … Atlanta is where I want to be. Believe that.”
Over the weekend Carroll said that didn’t mean Irvin wants to play for his hometown Falcons, now coached by his former Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn.
